You're creating a community on Frontcover because you want to delight, engage AND grow your community.

Having a kick-ass welcome video filmed, specifically created for your members, is a simple and massively effective way to make a lasting impression and nail part of this!

Your welcome video sets the scene for:

  • why this community is important and valuable

  • why people would want to claim their membership

  • how they can redeem member benefits

  • and how everyone can create shared value and experiences.

When it comes to scripting this video, there are a couple of basic talking points you want to include.

Here are some key talking points to cover in your welcome video:

1 - Welcome people to the {Insert community name here} on Frontcover

Ie. “This community page is for everyone who {criteria here}" eg. "signed up to X page.”

2 - Tell them what the purpose is of this community

Ie. “Through this page, we’ll share all the unique benefits of being part of {insert community name} and notify you of any future updates and announcements."

3 - Once you’ve alluded to the purpose, elaborate on the benefits! Tell your community what’s in it for them and point them in the direction of how to redeem these benefits

Ie. “As part of {insert community name here}, you qualify for {insert benefit(s) here}. Redeeming it is as simple as {clicking on claim button from the Frontcover page}.

4 - Give them a reason to keep coming back to this page

Ie. “Over the coming days/weeks/months, we’ll be releasing all of our {insert company/product name} here first! And we’ll be sharing exclusive content and offers here too - so that you keep getting value from your {insert community name here} membership.”

Tip: You don’t want to create a long video, and we recommend no more than 45s-55s. Instead, if there are other points you’d like to elaborate on, create additional videos and add them to another new section on your Frontcover community page.
