Latest Release - 24th April
Expiry dates for members now available
Community managers can now set expiry dates for individual members or entire memberships. Ideal for seasonal memberships or fixed-term subscriptions. Get started by setting an expiry date when creating a membership or importing members.
Members will receive a reminder 1 week before their membership expires.
Contribute app released
We’ve launched the Contribute feature for communities with a connected Stripe account. Start collecting donations and support from your wider network.
Quick message now available to all communities
Our Quick Message tool is now publicly available to every community. Send messages via email, SMS, wallet pass, or our Smart Send feature - free and fast.
All plans now include unlimited emails and up to 500 SMS per month.
Wallet pass notifications
Quick Messages can now be sent as push notifications through Apple and Google Wallet passes. A seamless way to reach members directly on their lock screen.

Member Cards Released
We've now launched our Member Cards - a new category of Digital Membership category powered by Visa.
It's the first fully-branded web-issued reloadable Visa payment card, facilitating cashback and cash top-up incentives. Essentially, it's the best way for communities to deliver member benefits and sponsor/ partner engagements.
Communities can now issue a reloadable Visa Member Card for community members that can be used to enable cashback with partner brands. Think professional communities enabling discounts with service providers or local sports clubs enabling their members cashback at their local pub.

Personalised Artwork Released for Apple and Google Wallet
A highly awaited feature, our Member Passes can now be toggled to include a photo uploaded by community members - perfect for adding some personality and creating new use cases using Member Passes.
Communities can begin enabling this now, by toggling "Personalised Artwork" as a requirement for membership onboarding
Improved Mobile Experience Released for Member Onboarding
We’ve revamped and improved the member onboarding experience, making it easier for communities to seamlessly onboard members and get them ready to engage.

Paid Membership Released (Beta)
We're now live with Paid Membership for one-off and recurring payments through Stripe.
We're interested in hearing from all communities that want to set up and test this new powerful feature to visit their dashboard and create/connect to Stripe.
Member Import Released
Community Managers can now upload and issue digital membership cards to their entire member list within minutes.
Frontcover Connect Released (with Zapier Integration)
Communities can now keep their subscribers updated in Frontcover through this API integration. For example, new email subscribers through Squarespace, Webflow and Luma can be automatically added to your Frontcover Subscriber list.

New Member Card with payments (Coming soon)
We're currently piloting a new category of digital membership card solution for communities. We're calling this "Member Card", as opposed to the current digital Member Pass solution.
These Member Cards are reloadable prepaid Visa payment cards, and allow member-based organisations to initially do Cashback and Top-up funds in a controlled ecosystem. This will be available in Australia only to begin with.

Important Updates and Fixes
Deactivate Members and archive Membership tiers
In the Members tab, community managers can now Deactivate members and archive Membership Tiers. This makes it very easy for new users to fully test the onboarding, digital membership pass issuance and the key member management functions.
Export Members
Community Managers can filter and export all members. The export includes all relevant contact information, including the links to download the digital membership pass for Apple and Google Wallet.

Advanced Member Management + Approvals
Community Managers set whether members are auto-approved or require manual approval. The Member dashboard provides the function to Approve (or Reject) a new member application.
External Application + Consent Requirements (New Onboarding Requirements)
Community Managers can set two additional requirements (onboarding steps) to join. For clubs, associations or communities with an existing application and/or payment step, this can be incorporated into the onboarding process.
Secondly, you can request prospective members to provide explicit consent to a custom statement (and link).
Batch Import and Issuance (Private Beta launch week commencing 12th Jan)
We're inviting the first communities to batch upload and issue digital membership cards directly to members via email.

We have started collecting many interaction events for members, such as clicking CTA button (eg. Redeem) on benefit cards, and all link clicks from messages - particularly through the Apps (eg. Onboarder, Scheduler).
This feature is still in beta, we will use this data to generate informative member engagement reports for Community Managers - whilst respecting a member's privacy.
