We released a new solution for Member-based clubs and communities to issue digital membership cards with photographic ID through Apple and Google Wallet.
Both Apple and Google Wallet handle artwork differently, so see below how we've customised the wallet pass to present the member's uploaded artwork (eg. Photograph) through the digital wallet card.
How It Works
Firstly, Community Managers need to update the Member Onboarding Requirements for a Membership tier. They do this by switching on the "Personalised Artwork" option. See below.
Once this is switched on, an additional requirement is presented through the onboarding process. Prospective members must upload a profile photo using the "Choose" button in the onboarding form.
Once the button is clicked, the user must upload a file, adjust/crop it to a square (if required) and Confirm the uploaded artwork before continuing.
Note: the user can Preview the uploaded artwork before continuing. See below.
The Member can also preview their Wallet Pass in Apple or Google Wallet before proceeding.
